Tell us about your morning routine.
Well!? I wake up (normally before the sunrises) and listen to the news on the radio. I have a HomePod and I use that as my alarm clock. (Also I use it to listen to audiobooks.) After the news I get a coffee from the drip machine. It has a timer so all automatic as long as I remember to set it the night before. And then I doom scroll on TikTok for a bit.

2 John 1:2 – _For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever._
*1.* Beloved, John is revealing a deep mystery here that the reason we must love, forgive and stand together is not because of what people have done for us, but for the truth’s sake that is dwelling inside us, because when truth lives in you, you don’t act by feelings or offense, you act by what God has planted eternally within your spirit.
*2.* That truth which dwells in us is not just ordinary information or church doctrine, it is the very person of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit Himself living on the inside of you, and that truth is what keeps you from falling, keeps you from being deceived and keeps you standing strong even when everybody around you has compromised and walked away from God.
*3.* Many people are looking for truth outside in their friends, in their prophet, in their connection and in their money, but God is saying that true victory begins when you discover that truth is not outside you, truth is dwelling inside you, and once truth is inside you, no lie of the enemy, no manipulation of the devil can ever conquer you again.
*4.* And John said this truth shall be with us for ever, which means the truth you received yesterday is not a seasonal truth that expires tomorrow, it is an everlasting truth that will be with you in your high moments, in your low moments, in your battles, in your celebrations, and that truth will keep speaking for you even when men have forgotten you and left you.
*5.* So today I charge you to hold on to that truth that dwells in you, protect it with prayer, protect it with the Word, protect it with holiness, because as long as that truth remains inside you and remains with you forever, you will never be stranded, you will never be put to shame and you will never lose your place in the eternal purpose of God.
